Nicholas K. Niemann and Andrew D. Hororitz are the founders of East West Publishing LLC and the creators of The Next Step For Business Owners Transition Growth System. The System was developed by us in response to the frustrations we have witnessed from business owners who have spent years building a business, only to run into roadblocks when they start to consider their eventual exit.
As Transition Growth Plan advisors, we actively develop Transition Growth Plans for our clients. However, there has been a lack of a credible, thorough system that is accessible to small and mid-sized business owners that enables them to economically address all the aspects of what a business owner needs to do today to successfully accomplish his or her transition or exit tomorrow, whether tomorrow is next year, in five years, or in ten years, and whether his or her "exit" means an exit from active duty or ownership, or both. The System provides a thorough, economical approach to the Transition Growth Planning needs of all business owners.
Nicholas K. Niemann began his business career helping his family build and manage their various business interests in restaurants, supermarkets, real estate, ranching and merchandising. He is a partner in the Omaha law firm of McGrath North. He and his firm work with business owners around the country to help them develop and implement plans to exit or transition from active duty and ownership of their businesses. A properly prepared Transition Growth Plan will help owners achieve the personal, business and financial legacies they want to achieve upon their eventual exit from their business. Nick has advised business owners for over 27 years and is a frequent speaker at exit planning, tax and estate planning programs to business, industry and professional groups. Nick is a member of the Nebraska Bar Association and American Society of CPAs. He is a director of the Nebraska Financial Planning Association. He has an AV rating from the Martindale-Hubbell National Law Directory (the highest rating for legal ability, ethics, professional reliability and diligence) and has been awarded Fellow status by the Nebraska State Bar. He has served on the adjunct faculty of Creighton University’s Law School, teaching transition and exit planning, taxation, business valuation and estate planning. Nick and his wife Ann have been married for 28 years and have six children and four grandchildren. Nick can be contacted in Omaha, Nebraska, at 402-301-3373 or nkniemann@gmail.com
